Alphabet GB appoints new sales manager

Alphabet GB has appointed Harry Peace as its new tactical sales manager to strengthen ties with original equipment manufacturers and dealer partners. The role supports the company’s push into electrification and total cost of ownership.

Peace joined BMW Group in 2022 and previously worked as a regional development manager. There, he established broker relationships and spotted sales opportunities. His move to the tactical sales role aligns with Alphabet GB’s effort to make its broker channel a key supplier across all business lines.

Experience and strategic focus

In his new role, Peace will use his knowledge of the broker market to advance Alphabet GB’s growth plans. He will focus on forming new partnerships and strengthening current ones, especially as the industry moves toward electric vehicles and cost-effective fleet management.

“I’m delighted to step into this role because it lets me build on the progress already made,” Peace said. “My main goal is to develop new partnerships and improve existing ones so the tactical channel becomes a trusted supplier across all Alphabet business areas.”

Alison Simmons, head of specialist sales at Alphabet GB, highlighted Peace’s skill in turning opportunities into outcomes. “Harry consistently delivers results,” she said. “His network and broker relationships make him well-suited to expand Alphabet’s sales efforts and meet customer needs.”

Broader industry shifts

The appointment arrives as Alphabet GB, a mobility provider under the BMW Group, adjusts to industry changes. The company’s focus on electrification and cost transparency matches wider trends in fleet management, where businesses now prioritize sustainability and efficiency.

Peace’s sales and tactical experience suggests a practical approach to growth. His work in regional development, especially with brokers, prepares him to connect Alphabet GB’s goals with partner needs.

The broker market remains divided, and earning trust from OEMs and dealers demands reliable performance. Peace’s appointment shows Alphabet GB’s plan to increase its influence in a crowded field, though results will depend on execution in the months ahead.

The company currently aims to solidify its position rather than pursue fast expansion. That approach may help as the industry faces economic shifts and changing customer demands.

Alphabet GB’s decision to create the tactical sales role signals confidence in its strategy, though long-term success is not yet certain.
