Mopar is celebrating its 90th anniversary with a special-edition Dodge Charger. The new ’27 package makes its debut this weekend at the Mopar NHRA Las Vegas Nationals, then moves on to SEMA. This limited to just 270 units package offers a fresh design language for the six-cylinder Charger, though it avoids the extreme power output of the all-electric Daytona model.
The package adds $10,995 to the Charger’s starting price and restricts production to 270 units, divided equally among three colors: Bludiculous, Diamond Black Pearl, and White Knuckle. Of these, 243 will be sold in the U.S., with 27 reserved for Canada. Buyers receive a carbon fiber front splitter, carbon fiber hood with a scoop, cold-air intake, and rear spoiler—all supplied through Direct Connection. Additional touches include custom graphics, an interior badge, and a serialized plaque under the hood.
Available on both the Charger R/T and Scat Pack trims, the ’27 package does not alter engine output. The R/T continues with its 3.0-liter inline-six, producing 420 horsepower and reaching 60 mph in 4.6 seconds. The Scat Pack, equipped with larger 54mm Garrett turbochargers and a charge air cooler, delivers 550 horsepower, shaving 0-60 mph time to 3.9 seconds. Scat Pack models with the package also include leather performance seats, the Carbon and Suede Package, Blacktop Package, and 20-inch wheels as standard equipment.
At SEMA, Mopar will also unveil additional Charger upgrades, including a high-flow exhaust system, exclusive 21-inch Brass Monkey wheels, and updated suspension components. The ’27 package continues the brand’s tradition of limited-edition models, following the ’13 Dart, ’18 Durango, and ’25 Ram 1500 RHO. This marks the fourth such package for the Charger lineup, reinforcing its status as a platform for collector-oriented special editions.
The event will also showcase a Direct Connection Ram 1500 Rumble Bee, a Rumble Bee SRT variant, two Jeep Wrangler concept vehicles, the Jeep Recon Overwatch concept, and a 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona Tribute powered by a Hellcrate 6.2-liter supercharged V8.
